Favourite Art Supplies Review

Tombow Mono Zero Elastomer Eraser

This eraser is very useful for removing harsh pencil lines for light sketching in watercolours,

it scuttles into tiny details and removes the residue of pencil lines after the watercolour.

The tip is 2.3mm wide and can be sliced off for even finer details. Refills can be purchased from eBay.

Unipin Fineliner

These fine pens come with varying sizes: 0.1- 0.5mm for outlining fine details.

Water and fade proof.

I often use them in watercolours and lettering which display boat names, yachting lines, masts, shop signs and fences. A much loved pen also for black & white studies and inking.

In art supplies shops I can find myself comparing pen 'favourites' with other artists!

Uniball Signo White Pen

This pen is useful for white details on black paper and for lettering signs and other details on top of black watercolour or other dark paints. Not all lines are smooth but its the best of its kind.

"Sipa" Japan Pens

Its seems all my products on here are mostly pens! I bought these pens on "Wish" intended for brush calligraphy. There are no markings on them for the size of the nibs - 2mm etc. They have no chisel and are regular brush pens. There's a certain knack to brush calligraphy which requires enormous concentration with every letter. And when you havent practiced for while it looks a bit clumsier. Other brands of brushpens are fine pens and often coloured but dont have the control and preciseness like these Japan pens.
